Hi, I’m Aditya Raghav. I’m from Bangalore, India. Currently working in the IT industry. As a kid, I was introduced to gaming at a very early age. It all started off with NES games. Mario Bros, adventure island, ninja Gaiden and so on. It soon became one of my favorite hobbies. This early passion for gaming introduced me to the PlayStation brand of consoles. The games available on the PS1 were so ahead in terms of visual appeal and gameplay. I have exposed to such a wonderful variety of games and experiences that gaming became a vital part of my life. It became more than just a hobby.
I think everyone should experience what games of the present-day have to offer. They not only tell fascinating stories, but each game brings out something unique to offer. In fact, the gaming industry is one of the fastest-growing industries even ahead of the film industry. There are many celebrities venturing into gaming. There’s something for everyone. It’s a fun new way to meet people from all over the world.
The competitive side of gaming is a different story altogether. Esports has evolved into a very big platform for professional gamers. Many gamers have taken these opportunities to broaden their careers and for many of them, e-sports itself is their career. It involves dedication, skill, and a lot of patience. Gran Turismo is a racing sim that I play on a competitive level. The main reason I’m good at it is that I was introduced to it many years ago. Back in 2003, I should say. I also had to invest in a Sim racing rig in order to play on a competitive level. But unfortunately, in the case of Gran Turismo, India does not really have much to offer as it is one of the countries that are not eligible for some of the official tournaments that take place in the game. Although, certain second-and third-party tournaments do take place similar to the Toyota GR supra event that I won recently. Plus, the game is all about racing which is also another passion of mine. Events such as EVO, Gran Turismo world Tours, and a few others are some major gaming tournaments that take place yearly. If anyone is looking to go competitive, find a game you are really comfortable or good at and work on reaching the top. You will have to put in a lot of effort and time and maybe some investments on a few gadgets depending on the game. This can open up a lot of doors for earning through gaming.
Merits of gaming? Many. It improves your puzzle-solving skills, improves decision making, opens up many career opportunities, major stress buster, broadens your general knowledge on multiple topics, the list goes on. But like anything in life, too much of it and it can take you down a dark path. It can lead to self-isolation, addiction and if you’re not careful, it can blow a big hole in your wallet. It should be balanced like everything else.
I would definitely recommend the youth to get into gaming. Gaming has so much to offer. From rich storytelling experiences for casual gamers to lucratively exciting opportunities to the hardcore ones. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world just through gaming.

My mom had enrolled me in all the summer camps in UAE.
I joined the golden talent music center in Karama Dubai UAE and there I met my first dance instructor, Mr Ajith Singh. He helped me grow and brought out the dancer in me.
Then I was trained by Mr Vinod Sequeira founder of ocean kids in Dubai. He made a real difference in my life, training me with all basics.
Empathy in the present generation is a very important factor to be taught among children. It is a capacity to feel what the other person is experiencing from within, by putting ourselves in that situation and understanding them. It is about sensing another person’s feelings. On a child’s perspective it is very important that the ability to understand from a very small age because those are the roots for them to understand how to be kind, compassionate, respect and value each other’s thoughts and perspectives.
