Hey so yeah

I started dancing at the age of 5.

My mom had enrolled me in all the summer camps in UAE.

I joined the golden talent music center in Karama Dubai UAE and there I met my first dance instructor, Mr Ajith Singh. He helped me grow and brought out the dancer in me.

Then I was trained by Mr Vinod Sequeira founder of ocean kids in Dubai. He made a real difference in my life, training me with all basics.

He took me in his dance company team too and I performed more than 50 shows.

Then my life took a turn when I started taking part in many competitions.

I lost many of them but never gave up.

Finally, when I started getting placed in a few or even getting to the finals, gave me some kind of satisfaction and happiness. Just before coming back to Mangalore I took part in the Boogie Woogie international dance contest held in Dubai and out of 400 participants I was selected in the top 10.  It was my first milestone.

Finally, when I came to India for my studies, I first took part in the Saroj Khan dance competition and did not expect to win it. I just gave it a try and surprisingly I won it.

That was another amazing memory in my dance journey.

I continued my training, practicing and performing at college programs, weddings, corporate shows, parties, sangeeth ceremonies and wherever I got an opportunity.

During college days I met two wonderful buddies Nicky and Leonel. We gelled really well and connected through our dance.

We performed so many shows together and always tried out competitions everywhere.

We had our wins and losses too. Finally, we decided to take part in a reality show Dance plus.

We auditioned for Danceplus 2 and got through the first 3 rounds and reached the culling round but we could not get through the 4th round.

We were devastated. We lost hope. It was really sad. We didn’t know what to do.

So, we waited. Never gave up and trained ourselves observing the show. We then decided to try next year again. we did. We practiced 12 hours a day together. Mostly during the night. Our coordination got so strong and we just started creating amazing choreographies and sequences. It was a very different feeling of strength, power, victory.

We cleared all the rounds in Danceplus 3 and when the trophy in the show turned from purple to green. That changed our lives. We were in tears. The news of getting into top 12 was not digested for a week. It was a dream come true!!! We enjoyed the entire journey. It was something so magical that cannot be described in words. I still remember each and every moment of it.

Performing in front of the legend Remo D’Souza and idols Shakti Mohan, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh sir was so spectacular. Raghav was the cherry on the cake of the show.

We got to meet amazing dancers and people. It was a very magical experience. Nostalgia played a very big part of my life.

 Yes…. this is my dance journey till now. It will continue as the hard work will still go on. More things to achieve. More shows to take place. More hearts to win and many more ways to learn something new every day. They say hard work is the key to success. I say hard work is the only key to success.
